From 4 June to 6 June 2026, the 22nd ‘Gaisberg Race for Historic Cars’ will take place. The event will be evaluated according to the regularity mode. We look forward to welcoming you on 4 June 2026 for scrutineering at Hellbrunn Palace.

Venue Overview

Event Description
The Event Includes the Following Classifications:
– City Grand Prix – one classification
– Salzburgring – two classifications
– Gaisberg Hill Climb – three classifications
– Gaisberg Wertungsfahrt Rally– one classification
At Salzburgring Racetrack, participants can drive at any speed – a reference lap is recorded.
At Gaisberg Hillclimb, a set average speed of 50 km/h must not be undercut.
The regulations for the City Grand Prix and the Gaisberg Wertungsfahrt Rally will be provided together with the event execution guidelines.
Winners are determined by the sum of all classification runs. The smallest time deviation determines the winner.
Eligibility Requirements
All historically significant vehicles are permitted:
open or closed
one- or two-seaters
Touring cars, sports cars, and racing cars built before December 31, 1979
Racing cars do not require street approval, but this must be reported to the organizer!

Junge Gipfelstürmer: for drivers and co-drivers up to 35 years old, 1st to 3rd place
Award Ceremony, Prizes & Trophies
The award ceremony takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 19:30 (entry from 19:00) at HANGAR-7.
Appropriate attire is requested.
Places 1–3 of EACH class will be awarded

After receiving the entry form, you will receive an email with bank details for payment.
Registration is complete only after the entry fee is paid. Participation is by invitation only, according to the eligibility rules. Maximum 130 vehicles – the organizer reserves the right to select participants. If an application is rejected, the entry fee will be refunded. Entry confirmations will be sent out from March 16, 2026.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation after confirmation of entry, for any reason whatsoever, 50% of the entry fee will be retained until April 19, 2026. For cancellations after April 19, 2026, no entry fee will be refunded. Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
In the event of cancellation due to legal reasons, the entry fee will be refunded in full.
Entry Fees
The entry fee per vehicle with 2 persons: € 3,480 incl. VAT
The entry fee for the class ´Junge Gipfelstürmer´
is € 1,500 incl. VAT. Requirements: Driver and co-driver must be no older than 35 years (cut-off date: 31.12.1991)!
These starting places are limited and will be allocated individually by the organizer on a first-come, first-served basis.

Safety Regulations
On the Salzburgring, wearing a helmet is mandatory for open vehicles. For safety reasons, helmets are recommended for all participants at the Salzburgring. Children are not allowed to be transported during the event. If a child is registered as a co-driver, Austrian traffic laws apply.
Vehicle Equipment Regulations
Only mechanical analog clocks with hands and dials are allowed. Digital clocks are strictly prohibited. Mechanical and electromechanical odometers are permitted. Radio-controlled clocks, even with analog displays, and all electronic aids are prohibited.
Advertising
Vehicles must be free from any advertising unless approved by the organizer.

We are in partnership with P1 Performance Fuels. P1 Fuels are the world’s leading provider of CO₂-neutral fuels. P1 fuels are a direct replacement for conventional fossil fuels and can be used in cars and classic vehicles with internal combustion engines.
Of course, participation is voluntary.
